Petition Against Aitzaz Ahsan Filed For Disqualification

Islamabad: PPP central leader and barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has been termed ineligible as a senator after he inappropriately recited verses of Surah Ikhlas in an application registered against him in the Supreme Court in this relevance. Dr. Abid Rauf Orakzai through Advocate Tariq Asad filed the application. It has been stated that the news item appearing related to the barrister of not able to recite Surah Ikhlas appropriately has became the reason for the application which shows his lacking in the Islamic teachings.
Federal Election Commissioner, Chairman Senate has been made the opponents. The application states that in order to run the democracy smoothly and for being a good leader it is necessary that the candidate meets the requirement as prescribed in the article 62 and 63 of the constitution.
It has also been presented upon that the barrister should be asked to recite the 1 st, 2 nd Kalima and Namaz. The opponents have pleaded the prime minister house to term Aitzaz as ineligible and the Chairman Senate to be directed to send the application to the Chief Election Commissioner according to the article 63, part (II).
It is worthwhile to mention here that the barrister recited the verses upon the arrival of the former president Asif Ali Zaradari at Lahore after he had left his presidency the same day. Approaching Zardari on stage in the arrival event, Aitzaz recited the verses. He repeated twice to correct the mistake but he couldn’t despite the attempts.

    so it seems that being able to speak a foreign Arabic language is the outstanding merit to be a good citizen of Pakiatan, what about thousand killer mullahas who speak exelent Arabic .

    Simply a slap of shame on this PPP leader and senator....... That was only BB Shaheed, now rest of the party has lost their minds .... They are living for dollars they are slaves and will be remain in slavery from top Zardari, Rehman Malik (Dog's tail), Yousuf Raza G, Raja Rental (Hair dresser) and Itezaz (Shameless)
