KPK govt bans police torture

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday banned police from using torture to extract confessions from the prisoners.

The provincial government restricted police from torturing the prisoners during their judicial and physical remands.

According to the directives, strict action will be taken against the police officials who found guilty.
