Pakistan Ranked 91st On Visa Restriction Index 2013

Pakistan has been ranked 91 st on the Visa Restriction Index 2013 by Henley and Partners. The ranking has been done through the consideration of the global access enjoyed by the citizens of the respective countries.
The Henley and Partners Visa Restriction Index is the global ranking done that sees that to how many countries citizens of a particular country can travel without the visa access. This ranking helps to determine the international relations and the status of an individual country to others.
Grant of visa is mere a permission to enter into other’s country territory. In the globalised world, every country demands the foreign people to hold visa, that is permission’ for eligibility to enter into the country’s territory for a specific purpose and limited time. The immigration officer of a country is the one who determines the duration of stay and the permitting personnel for the movement of a foreign man.
Pakistan falls with other nine Muslim countries who have termed worst in respect to visa restrictions including Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Sudan, Nepal, Palestine and Eritrea. While Finland, United Kingdom and Sweden enjoy being first at the top of the list that permits the citizens to travel more than 173 countries across the globe, Pakistani people can fly to 32 countries only.
U.A.E, Qatar, Bahrain is at 56,57and 59 while India ranks at 74, Morocco at 75, Algeria and Egypt at 70 respectively. Syria and Libya fall at 12 Th and 14 Th worst countries with the visa restriction in the index.
